Happy Burns Day 2020 … January 25th in Scotland … Cheers
Celebrated annually in Scotland on or around January 25 to commemorate the life of the bard (poet) Robert Burns, who was born January 25, 1759.
The day also celebrates Burns' contribution to Scottish culture. His best known work is Auld Lang Syne.
With Maternal Scottish Heritage, a wee reason was I for why my parents celebrated on Burns’ Day, 203 years later. Cheers
