I am amazed at the number of people I know who have travelled to NFLD. for Canada Day. Many of our neighbours here left for Ottawa early this morning for the festivities on the Hill.

It really is a pretty amazing country with a great deal of pride in the land by so many Canadians. That is a good clipping Mike, says it all I think.

Keep your eyes to the skies in 22 cities and towns across Canada. That's what our local 660 am stn has been saying. CF-18s making noise all across the country. I'm hoping to get some vid.

We went to the Villeneuve airport and the plane was at the end of the street. Its a very small airport and the planes taxi down the streets to the hangers!

Very nice Rob. How was the event?

Biggest parade ever for the first of July!! Took an hour and a half to pass any one point.
The crowd downtown were about eight deep and the kids were going nuts with all the hand outs
Our group of eight cars had people clapping all the way along with the way they were decorated.
Great fun for all!! Here's a couple more.
