2005 C6 LS2
I was in New York last week for the New York Comic Con and Chevy had their booth right across from mine...with a pretty sick looking silver C7.
Before the doors opened to the public I went over to take a look, told them I owned the C6 and was interested in knowing more about the C7....and the rep there was really great.

I'm not sure where to start and stop with my feelings on this new Vett.
In short, what I've seen online be it photos or video just doesn't do it justice.
In person it's really something. Gorgeous...even the back window that I utterly hated from the pics online is very fitting for this new design. The whole back end is just sexy...everything about it including the interior is finally fit for a car worthy of the name Corvette. They showed me everything...short of starting the car and driving it because it was already on the show floor I'm absolutely sold on it. I'm sure that at some point in the future I'll upgrade to this new beast...but for now I'll continue to enjoy my C6.

If you haven't seen one in person I highly recommend that you do...nothing online had me even close to considering one and now I'm absolutely certain that I'll own one in the future.

Well done Chevrolet...well done.

Sat in and checked out a C7 today. Relative to my '13 GS the interior finish is vastly
improved; up to the standards of my Boxster. A classy piece of work. [ at last ! ]
Under the hood....much the same except no corvette LS 3....just...corvette.
Exterior...personal taste...prefer the C6 crossed flags, the angle is better.
The rear....still not enamoured with it. Prefer C5 / C6 style.
Pricewise its a good buy; lots of power for not too many shekels. [g].
Interestingly on the P forums there are numerous comments/complaints re
the cost of the new 911 series, with the complaints focusing on cost of options !

So Corvette seems to continue the practice of lots of HP at a reasonable cost.

Glad to see you are coming back over from the dark side Tony....Have you placed the order yet ?

Brian,
you know..... a funny thing re yesterdays visit.
Surrounded by 'vettes; two C7's , Z06, two ZR1's and regular C6 and C5.
Yet no feeling of ' missing out ' on a great ride !! Quite surprized me.
And... a surprize was to see the '06 C6 conv. that we got there some years
ago. Still looks great. And NO; no order placed !!

Tony,
welland

I'm waiting for Tony to get his C7 then I'll just take his for a drive ..it'll save me the hassle of the stealership and annoying salespeople etc. !
