I turn on the wifi in the car when we travel. Wife likes to surf the web on her iPad while I drive and find info on places we will pass through. She sometimes uses Apple maps and compares it to the car's navigation system and apple maps seems to be a bit more detailed. On more than one occasion the cars nav map has me travelling across a field when we are on a newly completed road. This was most interesting as we were heading south of Las Vegas on the new Interstate 11 road and bridge across the canyon just down from the Hoover dam. We were Airborn most of the way according to the car nav
