As easy as meeting up with my Wife and I and we can easily give you an over-view.

All you need is your phone and a USB wire long enough to connect inside your console box

between the seats (discovered it working best there).


She had CarPlay in her C7 well before I warmed up to it.

Then I noticed the Infotainment map compromises too and had to consider

the fact that she was never complaining about her map as much

as I was. So I invested the time to learn Car Play.

It works best when your phone is plugged in via USB (not wireless to the Corvette).


True, CarPlay is not perfect but I am at least not paying over $150 to get

the latest map information for Infotainment that is already a year obsolete

once installed.


As well ... I am pretty sure that Google maps gives me traffic info ...

which Onstar wants $15 per month for.


Also, I've seen the NavTool that [USER=915]@turbozig[/USER] setup for his 2015 and

it looks like a sweet upgrade too. I know this 2014&15 upgrade would be much less

than adding Carbon Fibre to the Corvette.
