Beginning in the second quarter of 2022, Tremec will no longer be making the C8 transmissions, which to date come from Mexico and Belgium. Instead, they'll all be made in St. Catherines, Ontario according to this article released today by GM Authority:


Good news for Canada and Ontario in particular, with the new monies invested to make this happen. Hopefully there will be fewer DCT problems as a result, although I don't think those well-publicized problems meant there were a ton of bad DCT's made. This will be the same transmission used in the upcoming Z06.

Once again they are wrong!
Yes, they will add DCT production in Canada, but the DCT's have been made by Tremec in Michigan!
 
One guys opinion, but not right. I will take Google over his opinion.
