Is it just me, or does the engine cover look like it should be mounted backwards, so that the lines flow from front to back aerodynamically. Not the way it is installed in the pics.

The GM version still has insulation under it, and is apparently a double pane (with an air gap) window. That tells me GM is still concerned about the effects of heat on the roof over time. The aftermarket plastic cover has no insulation at all.why not just buy a aftermarket completely clear one for $600 USD?
Me neither, but others do. I love showing off the car.As a coupe owner I just don't get it. I looked at my engine through the glass on the first day I got it and never looked again. I just don't find it that exciting to look at my plastic engine cover.
