Just like HD more people will wear this stuff who are not owners than owners will.l will not pay GM to advertise their products

I'm an owner and wear their stuff all the time. Who gives a *hit about who wears the brand. It's a compliment to the guys and gals who have the cars. Not everyone can afford to buy the car but show the love by rocking the gear. My wife wore the gear and didn't own the car. Is that ok? Do you think GM has some conspiracy to boost their stock by duping you into buying some cheap merch? Here's is thought... maybe lighten up and enjoy the Corvette experience and allow others to do the same?

To each their own. Really should be no big deal at all.

I've heard this context from exotic car owners with their swag and was hoping that
thoughts like this would not come to our Corvette ranks with the C8 and it's exotic flavour.
Surely this can't mean that C1-C7 owners are to be wary of this if thinking of wearing C8 swag.
Answer is .... of course not ... ?

No different than buying your favorite team swag. Jays... Leafs etc. Simply a way to promote your passion about whatever you like. Great conversation opener with other fans regardless. Would have had mine on down in Disney this week. But the Covid put the breaks on that trip. Sounds like I should design a new C8 Shirt with Mickey Ears. haha. Cross Branding??

Just saying that for the money we spend on a Vette GM should be giving us a coat hat and t-shirt that is different from the street swag that anyone can get .l am very proud that l have what it takes to be able to own a Vette and a Harley and want to stand out from the rest.

Nice products but not everybody has a 2020 Vett, plus all velcro backs why not try flex fit....you'll sell more

The oil changes are included for a couple of years. Adding included swag would only increases the cost. No doubt in my mind included oil changes are buried in the cost of the automobiles with perhaps a little less in profitability off the top. It’s what it takes to make the difference in selling the vehicle off the lot along with establishing a service relationship with the dealership and an owner servicing habit. I know this well by seeing new houses being built with a detached garage or basement development “included”. Nothing is free and it serves no one any purpose to have the companies of our beloved products run without profit. So we get a few litres of oil and some filters .... instead of swag .... and I will take the 4-5 oil changes at $250 each (dry sump) over a cheaper two-year t-shirt any day. Go Team Corvette 👍🏻

I'll be lucky to get 2 oil changes in two years, but that is still around $100 worth.
Correct and I am pretty sure you will be entitled to them and absolutely your choice for doing the “miles of smiles“ that it will take for using them. 😁👍🏻

I got 5 for my 2016 but 3 for our 2017 as all the sand in the 2 year “hour glass” reached the bottom... 😁

I see what you are getting at now. I got a hat, jacket, and a t-shirt when I bought my last Z, but that was strictly from the dealership not GM. Oddly enough I have never seen anyone wearing the same ones anywhere even though they were picked out of a catalog. Got lucky I guess.
But as said below... For the GM throw-in, I am much more satisfied with the oil changes. They run $250 a pop on my car. As we were doing multi-day cruises, I think I managed to get 3 or 4 before my time ran out. Between the Z06 and the Hummer servicing, I can't remember. Although there was no free anything on the Hummer services...which dampened the pain for anything I spent on the Z06.
