Some new and (mostly) old info for those who are following the soon-to-be Z06. This was recorded November 13, 2021 and the 2 GM engineers making the presentation are Josh Holder (chief Corvette engineer) and Ed Moss (engineering manager). You'll note they take questions from those in attendance. The video is just over 26 minutes long. For an example of some new info: the Morello dipped interior is replaced by the dipped Adrenalin Red interior for 2023 (13:15 of video)...so "read 'em and weep" all you Morello fans and be glad you bought it before 2023!
A few other questions I had which were answered:
1. the Z06 is 3.5" wider on the body...BUT it's interior room matches that of the C8 Stingray (16:03);
2. the frame of the Z06 is identical to the Stingray (18:40). However does this mean the Z06 jack puck locations are the same? Perhaps but that may be influenced by the weight of the LT6 engine (?), which is likely different.
