Not sure why but the price of regular in Owen Sound has hit a new low today 111.3 cents a litre today. Hope it stays for awhile.

i buy all my fuel at a native station [ and cigs ] the folks there know me pretty well and sometimes i get native price too. i like to buy at this particular station because there is no ethanol in the fuel. filled my tundra yesterday for 70 bucks. much better mileage without the ethanol, they sell it that way because float planes fuel up at the docks. :canada:

It's just at a few stations on the east side of town and one or two downtown. Been like this for a few days now.

Good price for now Greg -- not been down much around here lately. Bottomed out last week at about $1.12 and crept up since.

It really gets me how we pay about $.12 - $.15 more per liter for premium. In the US they pay that much difference per gallon.

We're really getting the shaft up here.

Good time for a trip Greg. :D

It hit 110.9 this morning. And I caught your hint Colin. :D

Oh you bunch of crybabies!

91 octane fuel 4 miles from my place is costing me $1.36/l! Another sterling example of the "Alberta Advantage"!

I can't imagine what 93 octane would be even I could even find it.

On the plus side, 87 octane gas for the farm stuff is about $0.96/l.

And people wonder why I own biodiesel making equipment.........

Cheers,

Garry

We were at $1.42/l for the 91 Octane until a couple weeks ago. Now we should be hitting the $1.31/l for the 'good' stuff. No 93 octane out here and the closest place I could find fuel with techtron was Kelowna. The economy is going fine in Saskatchewan, we just don't have enough of a population for anyone to care.

Price went back up today to 120.9 for regular. I guess the price war is over.

We can get Petro Canada Ultra 94 here in town Riley but I always use Shell 91 becuase it doesn't have any ethanol in it.

Ultra 94 has ethanol? My understanding in Saskatchewan is that only regular and mid-grade have ethanol. Premium is pure gas....unless you get it at Husky, their premium still contains ethanol.
