I have taken apart the dash components of my 1999 C5 Hatchback more than once. Have replaced HVAC components, upgraded the radio, etc.
My problem is the gas cover release button and the hatch release / driving light module no longer work.
The FOB will properly pop the hatch and the driving lights light-up when the FOB is used to unlock the car, which proves there is electricity. I replaced the hatch release / driving light module and the gas cover release button. I have checked all the fuses under the hood and in the passenger foot-well. I have traced all the obvious wires and the grounding blocks, but I can find no fault.
Is there a common point with these two switches? An in-line fuse perhaps? Any help would be appreciated.
