Fuel Door Arm body scratch

Took the car for its first fill up today and noticed a scratch on the edge of the cut out for the fuel door. It aligns perfectly with the arm that the fuel door mounts on to.
It appears the arm is contacting the body when the door is opened.
Anyone else have this issue. How close is your arm away from the body when it is opened.
I contacted the dealer he will advise of course it is supposed to go to PPF on Monday.

I just checked mine and it's very close, about 1 mm when open. Also it rubs when half open and have a small incision in the paint, but nothing like you.

Once it’s repaired I might stick a piece of felt to the back side of the arm if the tolerance is still close.

Just checked mine and no contact at all. Several millimeters to spare. Maybe it’s something with the 2021 model year?

The slight contact on mine occurs after you have opened about a 1 inch.
When it’s fully open no problem also have room to spare.
Service has never seen this before they will order the entire part that holds the gas lid on. Once that’s in I will bring my car in. Meanwhile PPF minus one quarter panel.

I have ‘21 and checked when I saw this post. I do not have any rubbing.
