Front lift reservior leak

Front lift reservoir cap leaking. New one on order.
To inspect you have to remove the cowling covering the battery.
When removing the trim cover, broke two tabs off. (bigger hammer).
Solution is install proper fittings NAPA p n 665-2111
Grind off remaining stub of broken tab, drill small pilot hole mid point where the fitting was. Easiest to locate the pilot hole before grinding off all of the broken tab.
Then drill bigger hole (7/32?)to accommodate a tight fit for the new fitting.

To the current owners with the lift kit - has anyone else experienced this leaking reservoir issue?

After reading the initial post, I did some Googling & found several (very) recent posts on other forums with people having the same issue, apparently it's quite common & sounds like it's an issue with the cap but GM hasn't issued a fix yet.

This is an option I'm currently on the fence with, and mainly hesitant on due to potential issues such as this down the road... hopefully it's something GM will address soon, but curious to see if anyone here has experienced it

There was enough fluid leaked to show a puddle under my car. So I went looking , removed the cowling and discovered fluid on and under the lift reservoir. Others may not notice a leak unless they remove the cowl.

OH, I know there are some, but I have no leak.
BTW how often do you use it?
There is only now 1 place I need it and I haven't been there for months because of the pandemic.
