Front Lift OPTION--Owners Poll

Is the Front-Lift a "Must-Have" option on the C8?

Asking C8 owners if they think the Front Lift option was worth it
Front splitter is pricey and of course there is the “ cool “ factor. In the approximately 5200 km I have driven I’m pretty sure that it has saved me from scraping at least three times. And the memory feature is nice as well as very easy to use. I would order it again.

Would have sworn I gave my opinion on this. Oh well. Yes, there are at least 2 places that I definitely need it. Worth the money? I guess it depends on your personal worth. You can get long without it, but I wanted it and got it.

Same here, have it on the 23 & 24 and use the GPS “lift” feature regularly. It is a rich option but with MY24 inventory being heavily discounted I would look for a lift optioned C8 if it met most of your other specs. Because the lift and a bunch more would basically be free.

What is your plan? Are you looking at factory ordering a new car or trying to decide on an in stock unit that doesn't have it?
ERay-for awd and wide body look , front lift 3lz - 2024 hugely discounted??? ideally htc but maybe coupe-bit of splash but not overwhelming in colours-could buy today(after seeing it) for ideal car at the right price= cash+ tradein

The lift option was not a priority for me, buying a 2LT with mag ride , performance exhaust, HTC were my must have’s. I can only imagine what the repair costs would be when it breaks. I had a Macan with lift and it’s a very expensive repair when it broke.
It’s not like the HTC would be inexpensive to repair…… ;)

HTC is 3 years old no issues.
Had a 78 / 03 and 06 and never scraped the front end .
Know many C8 owners with the lift, modules needed replacing / software upgrades. Hopefully GM has figured out all the glitches.
Good luck
I have the extended warranty so won’t be concerned about it for a while. I haven’t heard what the failure rate is on any major components and of course you never hear about the ones that don’t fail . As for scraping that obviously depends on the road conditions you are exposed to.

Didn't get the lift option as owner of a 63/68/79/01/10 I can count on my 2 hands over those years that I scraped something and all with no damage. I am just careful where I drive did not see it was a necessary option. Never scraped anything on my 23 convertible in 2 years of driving 15000 km.
