Interesting - my Mom's family was all from Forestburg. She's burred in the family plot with her parents and aunt at a small country church in Pleasington nearby. I think I may still have cousins or their kids running the grocery store.
 
Well, this event had a fairly low turnout, which wasn't surprising considering the amount of other events that were going on. All the more fun for the people who did show though, as they got to make more runs! Here is your requisite Corvette content:

Tinman in his 2009 Corvette not only showed up and had a fantastic time, he also made it to the finals for the A Class trophy! This shot sequence is from one of his qualifying runs where he beat this Triumph Speed Triple in the 1/8th mile! It's hard to see his grin under the helmet, but I know it was from ear to ear!

I had the pleasure of driving Tim's C6... There is a very good reason he made it to the finals... This Corvette runs extremely well ..
