The ZR1 is a whole different beast. I sold a C8 and C7 Z06 to get it. I didn't think that the 105 extra HP vs the Z06 would be much of a difference......I was way wrong. This puppy is way out there.....you better be hanging on when you put the pedal down. The C8 Z51 that I had was an incredible driving machine....almost knowing what you wanted it to do.....we have incredible I-15 highway right here and you can have a blast...hardly any traffic, 80 MPH speed limit....frequently exceeded....I'm sure my brothers and sisters North of Montana know where I'm coming from. Anyway, having had a bunch of Vettes and assorted other hot rods, including nitrous rockets ....my verdict is that the ZR1 totally rocks....it's like having nitrous on all the time. C8 Z06 should be phenomenal.....way different from C7, but absolute killer world class machine! Hope to get one at MSRP.
