I was bumped up from #3 to #2 on the list when that order fell through and the car was purchased at MRSP. I am informed that many dealers are doing this as they are more interested in having relationship with satisfied purchasers since those folks will be likely to have their vehicles serviced at that dealership and may purchase another car due to the good experience. It is there that the money tree grows for dealers, not simply a vehicle sale. Now on to the original OP’s question. The safest thing to do is to get your deposit back and re-order when able. However, if you think you will be “in the money” before possession date, go for it! Either way, it really doesn’t matter much how I feel…this is something only you can decide.Happy Motoring!!!
