I know these are a bit late, I have got a few things done so far and to many it may look like a mess, truth be told there are days I go into the shop and scratch my head wondering what I have done. So far you guys have been a big help and I think I will be leaning towards you all often as I progress. Thanks in advance for all the help.

Great start. Looking forward to seeing your progress.

Thanks for the encouragement guys, I am NOT blessed with time, space or money, but that is life. I have done more with less. Slow and steady I hope.
I will be bugging on here when I hit walls, I will order my front end parts after I get back from downeast and get that done.
I have ID the motor and it is not original, it is a dog L48 out of a 1976 vette, making about 180hp, with 350TH, I will freshen it up with a cam and intake.
I will post some pictures as we go.

Yes Taylor I have been looking thru your posts, you are an amazing fabricator, doing a really nice job. I hope mine can be even 1/2 the resto you are doing.
I look forward to seeing more of yours. I lack heat in my shop so no body work but I still hacve much wrenching on the mech stuff, front end to start and engine to build, I am trying to have the mechanical stuff ready for spring but will see, you never know what comes up right.

Nice site thanks for the link Larry, I have a bad corner on the drivers side replaced with a assembly from corvette depot, very solid frame as well.

tn_BA Station Lemans Rear Quarter-2.jpg

Back in the `90s, I had a `72 Lemans Sport down to a bare body and bare frame. I did everything myself except for the final prep and paint to keep the costs down. I can appreciate the amount of work that goes into restoring a vehicle. When you are done, you have a car that is as reliable as new, because everything is new. If you don`t do it right, you will constantly be doing repairs as the old stuff wears out. Keep up the good work, You will be happy in the end that you did the job right.

Really nice start. Did you pull it apart or was it like that when you bought it. I bought mine 3/4 in pieces and did the work from their. It has been a challenge but hope to finish this summer. Love the enthusiasm and don't get discouraged it can easily happen because it is a tremendous amount of work but lots of fun and rewarding. It will be easier if you took it apart. It took me 6 months just to sort bolts. LOL. what year is your car.
Nice work!!!

Thanks
It was partially started when I got it, my son and I have taken it all the way down now and will be doing the engine and the front end this winter, my garage is not heated so can only do mech work during the colder months. That being said I have to sort many bolts and parts yes, it is always easier to re-assemble when I take it apart and label and bag parts.
It will be frustrating and rewarding and many in between. with a little help from my friends.
will keep all posted on here.
