Well I finally did it.
I've been in love with Corvettes since I bought the Beach Boys vinyl album "Shut Down Volume II" in 1964. I played that album thousands of times on my $9.99 record player and propped up and stared at the album cover.
I vowed to one day own a 'Vette.
Well 54 years later I finally did it.

Love the colour of your car. Speaking of the Beach Boys, back in 1970, I put an Automatic Radio 8 track tape player in my new COPO Chevelle. The first song was the Beach Boys tune....In My Room. I have the same music on CD and was playing the same song today on my run to the village in our 2005 Corvette. Who would have thought that we would be doing the same thing nearly 50 years later. It certainly never gets old.

That is like me!
Wanted a Vette since the 70's
Finally made the move in 2016. No regrets!
Especially this year as I made I to "Meet In The Middle" and have enjoyed the top down pretty well all summer long.
Although I don't feel it is a good thing, climate change has been great this year.

Thanks for all the replies and welcomes.
Done lots of rides the last week.
Even to Canadian Tire for house stuff and batteries for the wireless "key".
Taken grand kids on rides. Granddaughter didn't understand why she couldn't come for a ride at the same time as her big brother. She didn't get that there wasn't a back seat. Took her next on a booster seat. Her big brother ran out of the house screaming, "OMG Grandpa got a Corvette".
Another Grandson said it was the best car he's ever seen.
Take care and enjoy your rides everyone.

Congrats "happy ole guy" (aka "canuckguy") and ENJOY
Curious what part of this small country you are making tracks?
Cool Grand-parenting moments … "sharing the empty seat" is a good reason to own a Corvette.
