Finally got the call! What was your shipping timeline like?

Finally got the call from my dealer that my car is built and on its way...eta next Friday the 19th!
Originally ordered on feb 11th and was waiting for a 2014 model...by june I was told that that wouldn't happen and I would have to wait for a 2015...it been a long, long wait but I can finally see the light! its going straight into storage but at least i'll have it!

Just chatted with GM Live Chat. My TPW of this week has not changed but there is no code indicating my C7 has been built

I will contact my salesman this morning.

Good for you and yeah, that is a bit of a wait. Personally I'd prefer the 2015 over the 2014 just for the A8 so in my opinion the wait was worth it.

My situation might mean I'll be in line for a 2016 unless I find a 2015 I like. :coolgleam:

I like your build too ... even though I am a convertible guy.

BTW, what color is the interior?

Definitely need the pictures.

Also another important point if you were bumped from 2014 to 2015 is to ensure that you get 2014 pricing still (GM approved credit depending on build) for that car.

Update!!! My C7 is at code 3400!!! Yay! Salesman says it could complete its build today or Saturday

Interior color is kalahari. The dealer is going to flat bed it to my house. Unfortunately I couldn't get price protection, that really sucks. I spoke to GM canada and my dealer and for no specific reason they told me I was not eligible. I still can't figure out why though....my order was in the system as of February 11 but still no protection. Found out through the forum it would have been about 1495$ rebate, which would have been better in pocket than theirs. Perhaps someone on the forum could direct me in a better direction to help get this rebate. Thanks !!!
