Final numbers for 2015 Stingray/Z51/Z06 production~Total Breakdown.

Seems to me that is less cars shipped here than in the last model year. If I remember correctly Owais said the we ended up with 1800 shipped to Canada for the 2014 model year. No wonder folks are having a hard time still getting them. All of that 1800 would have been Stingrays the year before since no Z06's were built yet.

238 CND vs 6526 US of 6980 or 3.4% vs. 93.4% vs. total production Z06 coupes
91 CND vs 1548 US of 1674 or 5.4% vs. 92.5% vs. total production Z06 Vert.

Way to go GM Canada........ :clown:'s

329 Z06's.....That's interesting. The number seems way off what most people in the know stated. By about 6 times the high number! Some members had people look into the Canadian order system to see numbers in the low 40's. This was just before the second surprise allocation in April of 9-12 cars. I wonder where they got these figures from.

It seems this last allotment resulted in far more allocations than first predicted.... I know of several dealers to pick up Z06s last minute in Ontario alone. Parked at a car show last night, I met another with a brand new Z06 he picked up from Cullens...Cdn allocation. We now have 3 in the Niagara region that I know about.

Don't matter...absolutely love this car and it is the highlight of wherever it is.

Wow 329 - Z06's seems real high, makes one wonder why dealers were brokering them in from the States with that many available.
I know Manitoba got 7 x Z06's allocated between 4 dealers.

Agreed Wayne, dealers and private lots are still bringing cars in....

I heard that the total number of "14's shipped to Canada was 1140.

Could be right , it was Owais that suggested that 1800 were shipped , he's gone now. That was predicated on some pretty big numbers the last 3 months of production. Any dealers know for sure what last years number was?

Long time lurker but first time poster.

I looked up Owais's post about 2014 C7 deliveries and looks like he said there were around 1200 deliveries for 2014 C7's in Canada. Not sure where the 1800 figure came from.

See below for his post from March 29th.

http://www.canadiancorvetteforums.com/threads/sales-figures-2014-vs-2015.7022/

I looked at the sales figures of 2014 C7's vs the 2015 C7's and with only 4 months of 2015 C7 sale remaining it doesn't look very encouraging.

GM Canada delivered around 1200 2014MY (Model Year) C7's.

So far for 2015MY GM Canada has delivered around 350 C7's (deliveries from Sept 2014 -March 2015). With only 4 months remaining for deliveries (April-July) of 2015 C7's they need to deliver over 200 C7's every month to match their 2014 deliveries.

Things to keep in mind however are that back in 2014 we didn't have Z06's and the Convertibles were late availabilities so really we should have more deliveries for 2015MY except that for 2015MY we have 6 weeks shorter production cycle.

A lot is riding on April delivery numbers. If its not close to 200 then some people will be pretty disappointed this Spring/Summer as they will have to wait longer for a 2016MY.

Looks like Canadian deliveries actually increased by over 25% in 2015. from 1200 in 2014 to over 1500 in 2015.

Also looks like GM has started to increase the quota for GM Canada as it used to be around 3-4% of total production. According to the numbers above GM Canada got 4.5% of the total production in 2015. That 0.5% increase represents a 12.5% increase in quota for GM Canada which is worth noting. Looks like things are moving in the right direction.

Some used C7's are also starting to appear across Canada including some ex-rentals from US.

That number looks much better against the 2014's. Go's to show working from memory has it's negatives :) His claim they needed to add 200 a month for the last 4 months to just match the 2014 numbers now says maybe he didn't have good numbers on the 2015 Cdn cars to date at that point given the 1500 final number.

I checked on www.goodcarbadcar.net and Owais's numbers were dead on. Its just that GM in Canada delivered a LOT of vehicles in April and May. June numbers haven't been reported yet and the last batch of 2015 C7's would likely get delivered in July.

Thanks mr_butthead for watching my back in my absence.

The above info provided by butthead is correct. Also GM Canada reported delivery of an additional 251 C7's in June so leaving about 200 more 2015 C7's out there.

3 of these are currently at my dealership Leggat Chev in Rexdale, ON.

Hi Jose,

Thanks!

Even if I could been here I wouldnt have been much help as I didn't have access to any intel that would benefit the forum members.

Now that I will have the access I can be more useful.

Glad to be back!

I followed the link and noticed that there is a performance 7 speed manual and a standard version. Anyone know the difference?
