These were in the upstairs hallway and boardroom at Shaganappi Chevrolet.

Spence and I were there tonight for the “GM Cruisers Meeting.” I’ll let him tell you all about our impressions of it.

But hey !! These were pretty cool to come across. Some of these guys were ahhh... pretty good !!

    We’ll meet and greet others at Certified Radio/Timmy’s 17104 17104 111 Ave NW, Edmonton, AB T5S 0A8 at 11AM.
We’ll then leave about 12noon. We can stop for lunch in Onoway or Westlock. Then over to Gibbons for an ice cream. Then we can pick a place for dinner in Sherwood Park. We’ll play it by ear. Any recommendations are welcome. Total Cruise length is 3.5 hrs approximately 300kms. People can join in and leave at any time. PM me at any time for where about.
This could be the last cruise of 2017 unless the weather holds up. Come join us for a great cruise and great times.

    1990 corvette runs rough

    Darryl L, Oct 14, 2017 at 1:12 PM, C4 Forum
Hello all! I just purchased a 1990 C4. I got it from an estate sale super cheap due to a rough idle and stalling issue. It's been sitting about 1.5 years. It has fresh gas though. Engine was rebuilt 60km's ago. Mods included, 10.5 pistons, LT1 cam, hv oil pump, double roller chain, ported heads. Has no knocks or clicks, good compression, good head gaskets, good fuel pressure. Engine starts up well but runs rough, stumbles, seems to get worse when warming up. Like a vacuum leak but no hissing sounds. Possible EGR valve? What happens if I disconnect the vacuum line and plug it? Possible TPS or IAC issue? Anyone else have this issue who could help? It's a very nice car that had a lot of money put into it...just runs like a pail of s***!

C7 Engine and Cabin Air Filter Inspection

    turbozig, Oct 14, 2017 at 10:11 AM, Detailing/Car Care
On the home stretch of my C7 maintenance and detail before she gets put to sleep for a long winter slumber. Here are some pic's of the engine air filter and cabin air filter removal, inspection and cleaning. A very simple task anyone can accomplish quickly. The procedure is in the owners manual as well. There are four 7mm bolts holding on the heat duct which needs to be removed first. I find it easier to remove the complete air intake plenum. The two large clamps are loosened, 8mm bolts. There are 2 plastic PCV vent tubes whiche are removed by pushing down on the gray buttons and pulling up on the tubing gently at the same time. There is one electical connector which needs to be removed by gently pulling up on the red clip to release the lock, then pushing in on the release clip and pulling the connector off. At this point the complete air intake plenum ass'y can be removed, inspected and cleaned. Finally, the air filter hosing is removed by loosening the 2 torx T20 bolts, tilted...

    Race Ramps Rock!

I just finished washing the car and engine compartment, dryed, vacuumed and started detailing the C7 today. Definately a feeling of accomplishment. It is up 12" on Race Ramps and wheel cribs. Going to do a engine oil change and filter, manual transmission fluid change, differential oil change and clutch fluid change tommorow. May do a brake fluid flush as well if time permits. 20171010_184727.jpg 20171010_184747.jpg 20171010_184510.jpg 20171010_183816.jpg

    Jeffer2013, Oct 8, 2017, 403/780
say I handed out over 35 cars this year and went to buy some more and wally world is going out of the 1.25 and 2.25 cars
can I get some forum guys and gals to visit their local wally world and buy up to 20 cars all corvettes any colour hopefully not all red at 1.25 or 2.25 each

they were hot wheels I think

and I will pay when we catch up to each other

need to spend about 300 or more beans to stock up for the next few years, and I need ot tell the wife her Xmas present may be a little late because of this ha-ha

let me know and I will post when to quit buying

at 1.25 or 2.25 they are a gift to let the kids and parents know we are good folks and the kids get a treat that may turn out to be a hobby they enjoy later in life,

some of the parents bring the kids over as they want to own another or a first corvette as well

    let me know Jeffy

    Announcement CCF Clubs are here

    Nik, Oct 8, 2017, Forum Q&A
CCFCs but to coin yer phrase.

This is an idea I've been toying with for a while and finally (after some logo rework) will be working on shortly. We are looking to go live in the next week or less.

    What is it?
CCF Clubs bring the awesome unabashed and totally modest power of CCF to a local club level. Essentially these will be self-managed Club pages and club sub-forums (together with their own membership and moderators) within the CCF fold.

What's the point of a club then if I'm on CCF already? Isn't CCF a Club?
CCF isn't a club. But well because we can. Also if you say run a Corvette club or a butterfly spotting club, and you want to use/invite other likeminded members CCF Clubs makes it super easy (especially if your Club members are already CCF members).

My Club is already on Facebook, why should I care?
Facebook is cool for sharing the odd pic but it's really cumbersome for running clubs or maintaining searchable history of past club events. Forums are...
