Second issue maybe more serious is the dreaded message "Service Vehicle Soon" "Service Active Handling" flashed up on the way home. On the way over I had run over some rumble strip but that may have been a coincidence, maybe not. I stopped part way home, shut the car off, took the key out waited a couple of minutes and started the car up again. Ran fine, it did all day, no message. About 20 kms later it flashed up. Another thing is that I don't think it show the "active handling warming up" this morning when we left.
Graham posted the method for checking the codes in a thread some time ago but I cannot find out how to do it. Short or shot memory, one or the other.
Any thought would be appreciated. Graham are...

Anyway, this is the latest combination we tried, along with some pictures:
Please let me know what you all think. And keep in mind, this car was always kept clean by the previous owner, but did not take the time to clay bar, compound, polish, wax, etc. so the car had several flaws, such as major swirl marks, minor swirl marks, light and deep scratches, and a couple very un-noticeable paint flaws from the factory. We were able to correct 90% of all the flaws but have a bit to do yet.

So that leads me to today. I've had the '04 out about a half dozen times, including a day-cruise with the Nova Scotia Corvette Club, and when I backed into the garage this evening and shifted to drive (automatic transmission) the shifter moved without any resistance (my first clue) and I could still see the reflection of the back-up lights (second clue) behind the car. I moved the shifter full spectrum several times and did manage to get the transmission into park; and that where it sits now.
I'm not a technical guy, however my first guess is the whatever connects the shifter atop the tunnel...

So yesterday i was driving to superstore and after parking the Vette, I couldnt turn the key to turn it off. After a massive panic episode i drove to the warehouse by my works main office looking for help from the warehouse guys. After a lot of hassle they got the key out. We decided to try the second set of keys just to see if there is any difference. It only made things worse. Now the key is jammed in the run position and we had to disconnect the battery to turn it off. Now the Vette is sitting at the warehouse with the key stuck in the ignition. but at least its locked and has a club on the steering wheel. i need to get it out of there ASAP.
I called a locksmith and he said it would be a 4 hour job and run $700 to change the cylinder and make new keys. I called B.S. and did some research. I found this place Corvette Parts & Accessories from Mid...

Is it possible to separate the wiring in the front running light from the turn signal? I want to run a led running light on the existing run circuit but have the turn signal operate separate. Basically split the 1157 circuit if the makes sense.
I can wire the running light separate on its own switch, that's fine but I only want the turn signal to flash when needed and not be on all the time as run.
I hope this makes sense lol, any insight would be great

I really like Vodka with lots of ice, squeeze of lime with tonic water to cool off.
Sparking wine seems to work no matter what the season.
Does not have to contain alcohol for certain. So what do you enjoy to quench that thirst?

Here are the pics of the odd and interesting spectrum of vehicles there.
The next two cars, I can appreciate the workmanship??? I like the idea that they are pushing the trends, but seriously, all I can think is, 'nope'.

As you all know and many have seen the Upper Kananaskis Lake is very pretty. The fall colours are in full glory in Sept and it's only an hour and a half from Calgary. There are 2 other lots there as well but this is the only one with a water view. My concern there though is the hiker traffic that is out there on weekends. The parking lot is a major trailhead for a dozen hiking / backpacking trails so chances are good it could be fairly busy. But,being after Labor Day weekend,it could be hit or miss too. As well,if any of the Red Deer and points north guys came down to see us,the Stoney Nakoda resort is quite reasonable after Sept long. As well, they have a massive parking lot and a really good weekend All you can eat buffet and indoor pool. As well,a continuation from the lake on southwards...
