Last Sunday I noticed something new and strange ... on TSN & FOX.
I was the First ever eNASCAR iRacing Pro Invitational.
Actual self-isolating current and past NASCAR Drivers.
The likes of Dale Earnhardt Jr & Bobby Labonte are participating.
As a Spectator, this has never given me so many facial expressions
- my eye brows hurt after (lol)
Today the Second Race - at Virtual Texas Motor Speedway.
It has to be the oddest thing I have ever seen.
They are slating it as the only Sport that can do this.
Is anyone else noticing this Event of Late?
It will likely be on every Sunday (it's on as I type) ...
@nascar03 ???
@Black 03 Z06 ???

Definitely NOT the real thing ...
Definitely NOT everyone's thing ...
perhaps I am just NASCAR sick :Ack2:

I will say ... it's making use of
people's contractual salaries
putting this stuff on TV.

I only Managed to catch the last few laps today. I thought it was great....
Mike Joy and Jeff Gordon were the commentators and kept it real..
It certainly is a way to keep the sponsors in view... it was also nice to see some of the retiree drivers play along. LaBonte, Biffle, Dale Jr, etc,
That technology has improved a lot. The new racers have grown-up on this iTECH so they are pretty good at this stuff.
It won’t replace the real thing but it will do, along with watching some of the old races they are showing as well.
The burnout at the end of today’s race was good too.
Usually the On-Demand feature of your cable carrier may rerun this race by Tuesday.

The next race is Bristol next Sunday.
I’m looking forward to it.
