Great day today .

Grant dropped off his 07 C6 -Z51 with the A6 auto trans for the :

ECP / Chuck Cow A6 Attack Package.

The package consists of the following :

Yank 3200 stall
Transzilla rear diff , all beefed up and hardened output shafts .
All new GM fluids
A special Chuck Cow A6 tune .

Special thanks to Chuck Cow.
We are the only shop in Canada can now update the 06 - 07's to an 2008 operating system . Thanks to Chuck for sharing with ECP this new tech that alllows us to be the only other shop in N.America that can do this .

I have to tell you , that anyone that has an A6 auto trans and wants to have that Corvette perform like a rocket, yet still drive like stock ...this is the package for you friends . It feels like you have added 100 + RWHP .

We also install today, a full ZR1 style aero package for Grant .

Now for the pictures :

Right into the tear down.

We also had Cam & Jim in from Bowmanville on Saturday with his 07 A6 - C6, for a Vararam and lowering . Cam is coming back for the ECP / Cow A6 Attack package as well as an Edelbrock blower , and for Jim we will be doing a Kenny Bell blower for his Mustang .....yes you read write Mustang ......
Don't worry I will make sure we make the Vette faster Cam

See you all soon .

Wow, nice steep gears and stall for a automatic vette.
The power must come on nice above 3200, auto's have so much torque managment
that can be adjusted in the PCM to really change the characteristics of the car.

For sure Greg , and the fact that the T42/T43 trannys have their own computer , has allowed Chuck to develope some cutting edge programming .

The fact he shares these programs with ECP is a huge bonus for us Canadians EH :canada:

Now if Chuck could reprogram the gear selector in my M6 to shift better then that would be awesome!....oh wait, I select the gears...

Very cool package! That car looks sharp.

I've got a 2800 with 3.42 gears in my A6 if you ever want to try it out to see how it feels.

OOLALA -- sign me up for sure. Maybe you can show me all about it -- If you're anything like me, you're not quite the happiest letting someone else drive..

I'll take you up on that sometime..Really like the idea of a steeper rear gear -- I"ll have to talk to Manny about costs involved. I can't imagine it's cheap at all ....tnx.

Colin.

I have that package from Chuck and I can tell you that it wakes the car up like nothing else. Just the gear change with nothing else made the car feel lighter and quicker. 3.42s are just right to get rid of the lugging at highway speeds too.

I really don't know exactly as I did it in a package with other things. That was the first time I ever spoke with Manny, but I ended up going to Chuck only because it was about the same distance but was an advantage for me to spend US dollars. If I was close to Manny I would use him. I know from then they were working closely together and I believe its the same diff they use. He would know the price but I'd guess a couple k sounds about right.

Oh for sure I would go to Manny -- Frankly I wouldn't trust anyone else with it. I've talked to Chuck -- he's a very friendly and personable guy who loves modding and tuning -- and sharing his stuff.
Manny has a pretty close relationship with Chuck ....... so we get the best of both worlds....:D

I'll check in with him this week.
