Production ends May 6th
Last Order Cycle March 17th

2023 Corvette Model Year
Inital production start May 9th
First Allocation Cycle/Order Entry March 31st
Preorder Dates are TBA

This will shuffle the deck on all those 22 order lists. And with the Z06 starting production in MY 23 the Stingray waits will just get longer. Lets hope for a 3rd shift.

You're right Murray, and as we all know, anything can happen, however, I've been told that I may not get a 22 and will most likely be switched over to a 2023 and I'm 39 on the waitlist with Bill Spencer, so, there's that. I just bought one of the last 2021 Mustang Mach1's in the Ottawa area so that I can at least have a "fun" car next summer (and of course, attend some track days at Calabogie). LOL. We'll see what next spring holds. First world problems, for sure.

If those of us on a long waiting list are pushed to a '23, I am kind of hoping that some design cues from the Z06 carry over into the '23 Stingray, just to say that they have tweaked a couple of changes for the new model year. For example, I kind of like the wishbone look a little more than the boomerang, and why not maybe even a slight front fascia revamp too while at it. Oh and while I am dreaming, offer the Z07 package wing for the Stingray as well. Odds are, the "if it ain't broke don't fix it" theory will just force a design carry over, no retooling at the factory needed, keep churning out what works for everyone.

I like the concept. Having many of the Z06 parts, or mods, available to the Stingray purchaser as single or package options would take some of the pain out of the wait. Though with the almost 4 inch width difference many will not be feasible. The Z06 carbon interior options would be awesome.
