Nothing wrong with a few extra electric motors helping out a V8... Look at McLaren, Porsche and Ferraris... All crazy fast hypercars. Unless GM integrates it with their CUE system in which case expect long delays and occasionally have the DC motor throw you in reverse just for the sake of it...

I guess I stand corrected....:Banghead:

That should be a big hit with the younger generation, don't need any mechanical knowledge, don't need any physical effort, but Man I look cool.

I fear for our future generations.

With all the electronics on cars these days, why not slap an extra couple electric motors on the front and install an electronic driver while they're at it? Soon the car will be able to take itself for a cruise so I don't have to be bothered. :P

But seriously. Electric motors or not, awd or not, I'm looking forward to seeing where performance goes! We now have a pony car with over 700 hp. I'm interested to see GM and Ford's response to that.

You get yourself an electric Corvette and one of these to make it sound like a real car. ;)

All righty..... This is way cooler than the cardboard I use to clothespin into the spokes of my bicycle.... I want one for my everyday driver now... for a conversation piece if nothing else... My gf will $hit when she jumps into the SUV and it sounds like my vette... hahahahahaha.... toys for big boys....

That's so 2014 Riley, my Volvo family car already drives itself practically. It starts, stops, stays in its lane. Scary as hell to be honest.

I hear the new Audis will drop you off and go hunt for parking spots on their own whilst you sip cocktails and smoke cigars at the local Paradiso club.

Electric motors are the next level, they're trickling down and up through the food chain. The power is there but personally I'm bothered by the porky weights battery laden cars are getting up to. Even with modern CF tubs and ultra light composites cars are getting heavier and heavier with every generation. Battery tech is still a generation behind propulsion tech and the rest of the world so it will add hundreds of pounds to cars. They'll go fast but they won't be nimble.
