Driver side airbag issues

Can anyone help me with the Driver side airbag issue I seem to be having? It seems like when I move my seat forward and backwards the airbag light comes on. But if I reset my seat to the door open and then select first driver again sometimes the light goes out anyone have any ideas?

I'd start by looking under the seat, if possible. Sounds like a wiring issue. Look for the "unusual" (pertaining to wiring) while powering the seat back and forth.

It's a known issue, that actually has a safety recall. It's the yellow connector under the seat. The connector drags on the carpet, and it separates the connection, thus giving you the alarm from contact loss.
Most owners just zip tie the connector together so it can't come loose, and tie it up on the seat frame so it won't drag on the carpet.
The GM fix is to cut out the connector, and solder the wires together. That's great, except when you ever want to remove the seats from the car.

On some 2005 - 2013 model year Corvette vehicles, equipped with power seats, the wire harness connector from the seat side airbag and buckle tensioner to the body has a design interference between the vertical adjust crossbar and the carpet.
