Does GM blacklist you if your C8 is exported?

So I have been thinking of selling my new C8 and ordering a 2021 in a higher trim level. Is it true that if your C8 gets exported before 12 months of ownership that you are blacklisted by GM? I wouldn’t want someone to buy my car then export it preventing me from buying one in the future.

I doubt it would be a problem for you. Can't imagine you could get blacklisted if you sell the car to someone and they export it.

If you sell your C8 and then the third party ends up exporting it to the US you will get yourself a lifetime ban from GM on buying any GM product, not just a Corvette. Roll the dice and take your chances if you want......
