And on and on. Basically, anything to do with fixing, modifying or just enjoying machines. Machines I get along with and we understand each other, people though.....ugh.

Jack of all trades, master of none....lol!

My main interest started when I purchased a touring motorcycle in 2013, in hopes of recapturing my love of motorcycling from my youth. I had not ridden in over 25 years, so buying this big beast came with a wee bit of a learning curve, mainly due to the weight, which is around 850 lbs. I have loved every minute of having it, and have been on several trips, including one that took me through Washington, Oregon, California, Nevada, Utah, Wyoming, Idaho and Montana, I don’t regret the purchase. Now that I have the Vette, the bike may see less miles in the coming years.
Here is my second favorite thing (you know what the main favorite is, I‘m sure).

My Venture is an 83. Started out like this:

Bought 4 years ago from the orginal owner in PEI. Minty fresh, only 15,000 kms on it. He bought it as a young man, intending to ride the wheels off it like he did with his previous xs1100. Shortly after he bought it, he met his future wife and changed jobs from a 6 week on/6 week off job to a monday to friday, 9-5 job. The bike ended up spending the next 30 years in his heated garage under a cover until he finally decided to get rid of it.

But, I can’t leave anything stock, so now it looks like this.

Comes in just shy of 900lbs. It’s not stock by any means. I swapped a VMax engine into it (complete with V-boost system, 150 hp in total), along with a list of other things as long as your arm. Basically, tore it right down to the bare frame and built it back up the way I wanted it.

Alas, with the Vette now in the stable, it sees less and less summer use. I’m actually considering selling it off this year. Feels like a sin to walk by it in the garage, just sitting there...waiting to go for a ride...

My GL1800 Goldwing saw 0 kilometres last summer. The Corvette is to blame.

Anybody interested in a 2015 GL1800 with 6,000 kilometres? Or a 2007 HD Screaming Eagle Superglide.....lol

I built of couple of Zenith aircraft. (CH601HD and CH701) Built the first one in 2004 and the second one completed 2019-2020. Not speed demons but I don't get tickets. Flying out of Guelph Airpark. Might even paint them this year.
