Do you guys cover you Vettes (in the Garage) for the winter?

I have a Great cover but for the last couple of winters I did not use it.
I like to see the Vette when I go in the garage for whatever reason. Just brings a smile to my face and makes me feel better over the long and painful winter months.
I found the first couple of years I would keep peeling back the cover just to take a peak at her. Now she just sits there like a naked beauty queen.:canada:

Man I hate :swear: winter!!:(

I cover mine up every winter :D....But like you said Mark, I am always peeling back the cover whenever I go in the garage to take a quick peek at her.

Mark,

I keep mine on a hoist all covered. The only part I see is her naked underbelly:) Talk about a tease!

Covered. I sneak a peek every once in awhile. And I pump the brakes about once a week. :D

mine's covered and locked up in a buddy's shop till april. if i can't gaze lovingly at it ,nobody else can either, nyaa nyaa !!! wise to do that with the brakes greg, i wish i could. :(

Maybe it's nostalgia. Maybe it's childish. Maybe it's a longing for youth. Maybe it's just dumb.

Whatever it is, even after 45 years long, long years, I can't get over this car. I walk by and think, "Geesh. Is that mine?".

I have to put a cover on or I'd never get back into the house.

I'm with Buckhorn. If I can't see it, no one else is allowed either!:D I wish I could go out to the garage to sneak a peak and if I had 67's car, I woundn't keep it in the garage. I'd figure out a way to squeeze er into the living room!

Chalk me Down for a sneaker. She's always covered for the winter, but everytime I head in, I take a piece of her top off. Just a great sight for eyes!

Mine is stored covered in a new model house of one of my customers.
I am working across the street so I can go anytime to see it.
Its parked on plywood with a tender on it.
When he shows the house he says its $45.000 for this upgrade.
If someone sells their home in Toronto and buys one here at 1/2 the price, and always wanted a Vette, presto he can have it all.
I would sell it and buy a new one ,NOT FROM COURTESY CHEV !!!!!

glad to hear you're keeping the car. :D

Yeah hate it too but keep it covered to keep the dust off it. I just peel it back when I need to.
Maybe they won't be covered too long and we'll get an early spring.

C.

I keep mine covered, but still see the bottom third of my new Vossen rims and Hankook skins--it's enough of a tease for me. Every time I walk out to shovel, I give them a long, hard, look. Still love 'em!

No heat no cover.

I will not be heating my garage this winter so Im not going to cover the C6. The rise and fall in temperture seem's to make the car sweat when the car is covered in a cold garage.

Covered with a start up maybe half way through the winter and I also have a smaller version to play with until the good weather and clean roads roll back around.

Just finished covering mine. As you will note the cleanup of the garage is still ongoing, beautiful day sunny and over 10 degrees, waiting for spring with a passion.

Love the new cover, the old one has been "downsized' and is now busy covering the top of the air conditioner.

All in all; I wish I was on my way to another meeting at timmies :seeya:
