Hi Kids... My wife and I just got back from a drive to Disneyland. We met the grandkidkets down there and got to see the Park again thru their eyes! What a great time in the happiest place on earth! It was a 103F for 3 days. Drank lots of water and stayed in the shade. We took our other 'toy', a 2003 Jeff Gordon Spl Edition Monte Carlo SS. It was a fun ride, very comfy, fairly quick. It turns heads in the US where more people follow NASCAR. The fact that I had the dash signed by Jeff a few years ago impressed a few people. A couple of people had their pictures taken with the car. The trip down was 2200kms in approx 21 hrs driving time. On the trip back we stopped in San Francisco for a couple of days. Then followed the Coast Hwy#101 on the way home. Hwy #101 is a great drive and highly recommended. When I get the Vette back on the road soon then I want to go down the Coast again. Lots of twisty bits and small towns to drive thru. Incredible scenery and right along side the Ocean. We put almost 5000kms on the Monte and had a great time. The new GPS and radar detector worked great too. A recommended adventure for anyone wanting a nice drive. Thanx for reading. Graham
