If you are 2nd on their list you need to know how many allocations they have received so far. If they have only received 2 or 3 then, if they actually are expecting 6 or 7, then you stand a good chance of getting that allocation before the model year ends. I'd ask them that question. Not too many Canadian dealers have received their expected allocations at this time. GM seems to have shifted thinking to allocate cars to southern dealers over the winter. It is expected that CDN dealers will get their share of allocations in bunches over the next few weeks / months. After you find out from your dealer how many they have received you will have a much better idea of where you stand.
