Ok...I have searched the threads about engine bay detailing and all of it is stuff I allready know. I used to work as a detailer on the side at a car dealership and know the basics of getting the engine bay nice and clean...HOWEVER...

I don't know if high PH products will cause any issue doing my C3 as I have never detailed the engine bay of a fiberglass car and has it's original lacquer paint.

I have no issues with tools or the time it takes to do a proper job (I once put 100+ hours into hand sanding and polishing an intake manifold) ... but don't want to have screwed up my paint due to an overspray or the wrong product.

Suggestions?

Thanks!!

depends if there's heavy or light degreasing being done. test at different strengths. full strength won't hurt anything but if you can dilute then the cost will be lower and go farther. :D
