hey friends out there in Road land!! everything's original on my C5 vet hundred 49,000 miles some of the display lights for example on my thermostat showing temperature radio station the light is incredibly dim can't even see it anymore also on the dash next to the column of the steering wheel three of the five or six displays example lights gauges options those lights are out any idea?

The C5 climate control panel is notorious for having cold solder joints. These can be repaired by doing a "re-flow" of the solder points within the module itself. It's not a hard process, just a time consuming one. If you don't feel comfortable doing the repair, most electronic repair shops should be able to tackle the process. If you google "C5 dim climate control", you should find several online "How To" videos and tutorials.

Hope that helps.........

If you don't want to tackle it yourself, Corvette Central will repair the panel for around 200 US.
