Cullen trade in for C8?

Wondering what new C8 owners have been doing with their existing Vette's in Ontario?? Have you been trading them in or selling them privately? Curious if the big dealers (Cullen or Spencer) are offering fair trade in prices for your existing Vette or are you having to sell it privately??? Not sure what I should do when my # finally comes up for the C8???

Probably will get more privately but have the hassle of selling. Trading in will be less money but also will be less tax (but no effect on luxury tax)
If and when I get an ERay I will be trading in.

You may also want to see what other dealers will pay to buy the car from you. No harm in calling someone at Cullen or Spencer to find out.

I had good luck trading my 2020 in on my 2022, no hassles and fair trade value

With the cars going for 20 to 30k over list many dealers are willing to give you more than you paid so they can mark it up and sell it. There are also other deals to be had with a dealer.

I plan to trade mine in, or do a pass through/courtesy sale though my dealership

Don't forget the tax savings on trade. I would think the market is still good for premium on trade plus tax savings...call around!

In May Spencer gave me 28k net more than I paid new for my 2021 1LT Z51. I had 2 buyers for 7k more but honestly potential buyers were for the most part aggressive and sketchy. The dealer experience was the best for me.
