Cruise Cochrane - “Corona Covid Cruise” @ 3PM This Saturday - May 02, 2020.

2020 SPRING UPDATE:
THE “COCHRANE CORONA COVID CRUISE” - Saturday @ 3PM - 17C (63F).
It’s not what you think as you know we are very much against drinking & driving.
What is this?
Support for some local businesses & an early “Spring Shake-Down” for those of us that have our Hot Rods ready to hit the road!
I know many of you are getting itchy for something to do with this Pandemic in full swing. Add to that all Car Shows are cancelled for summer 2020 so far. Yikes!
At the last minute we thought… with it being this warm on Saturday & NO RAIN in the forecast it would be good for an early cruise.
We can do it within AHS Laws.
Saturday’s Forecast: 17C or 63F for us old guys & NO Rain!
Secondly, no matter where you are from, it’s especially good to support the local Mom & Pop businesses! We hope cruise groups in other areas will do the same!
So, we thought what a great way to start the season!
We may even do it (support local small businesses) more than once this year?
WHERE:
Meet at the Old COCHRANE CHRYSLER DODGE site.
544 Railway Street, West, Cochrane.
(5th Avenue & Railway Street – By the railway tracks & across from Shoppers Drug Mart).
WHEN: 3PM!
Drivers Meeting starts at 3pm. We don’t want to be seen standing around long so get there by 2:55PM.
This Saturday, May 02, 2020 @ 3PM. (Sorry, not much notice we know!).
PLEASE JOIN US & FOLLOW - ALL - COVID 19 - AHS RULES!
· All Attendees are required to stay a min. of 2 Meters (6 feet 7 inches) apart FROM ALL OTHERS at ALL TIMES!
· Even if you live together - We ask you stay 2 M apart.
· As the public will be watching us & sad to say; some may call the police with complaints if we do not abide by the rules & laws.
· All people in a vehicle must be living in the same household or they must be in separate vehicles.
· Bring or wear - gloves and a mask if you wish.
· Refusal to abide by AHS Rules or any Laws – WILL be asked to leave!
· Our Driver’s Meeting will stay under 16 people or we will have quick secondary meetings to meet this requirement of the law.

WHAT:
· An early Spring Shake Down for the vehicles that are ready.
· A “Support Cruise” for local “Mom & Pop” businesses!
· We will cruise around Cochrane for approx. one hour or so - TBD.
· We may stop somewhere for a quick snack or bite?
· You are encouraged to go shopping in Cochrane after cruise is finished! There are some really cool shops in town!
· We will end the cruise on Historic Main Street.
· Parking may be tight so wear comfortable shoes.
· PLEASE keep the 2 M Rule anywhere we are stopped!
· Only one person per vehicle into the stores/shops - Please.
· There are other shopping areas such as the Quarry.
· We will cruise past those areas as well.
· We are always open to suggestions - As Usual - the Majority Wins!
· Welcome to Cochrane – 30,000 STRONG!
WHO:
· Traditional North American style Hot Rodder’s & their families etc.
· If you like the Beach Boys & movies like American Graffiti or Two Lane Blacktop you might fit right in!
· Open to: North American factory built Classics, Hot Rods, Muscle Cars (old & new models), Customs, Street Machines. CORVETTES TOO Please so I'm not the only one!
