It's astonishing to me just how much value is placed on the uniqueness of some of the corvettes, be they a classic ('63 split window), or a low production ('19 ZR1).
So much so, that I thought I would have some fun and take a look at the situation sitting in my garage, just to be sure the Wife is well looked after down the line.
Mine is a 2024, HTC, E-Ray, 3LZ, Carbon Flash Metallic, with lots of 'bobbles'.
Here's the stats, according to 'C8 Tracker' and the 'National Corvette Museum':
Will this car be a future highlight on the auction block, bringing unfathomable wealth to my heirs? - I seriously doubt it.
Most likely what it means is that in Canada alone there's at least 3,343 enthusiasts that don't care how my car looks.
Enjoy your ride. - It's a personal thing.

Here's the stats, according to 'C8 Tracker' and the 'National Corvette Museum':
- Corvettes built in 2024 - 42,934, with 3,344 ending up in Canada.
- Of these, we ended up with only 111 E-Ray convertibles (and 65 E-Ray coupes).
- Introduce the Carbon Flash paint into the equation, and we are down to 6 (convertibles).
- A Natural, 2-Tone interior, narrows this down further to only 2.
- The choice of seat belts, wheels, and in particular the dark stealth flag emblem, finishes the job at making this a truly unique car in Canada.
