... and it will for the next 13+ years. It is a needed discussion and reinforcement of the car storage concepts. Haven't done that yet. May give it a try. LOLWell I dont think much has changed since the previous 362 posts but some people have crazy ideas about what they think they need to do! Am surprised no one has suggested that you must sacrifice a live chicken and dribble blood around your storage area to prevent the car from disintegrating..
What do you mean “floating type charger”?be sure to use a floating type charger not trickle charger. and get type that has winter mode on it!
They are a battery maintainer. A maintainer or also called a battery tender have an internal float switch that charges your battery ONLY when the voltage drops. As soon as the battery reaches it's full charge level, the float switch shuts the charge off. Thus, your battery never overcharges. I have 5 of them of different makes, and on various equipment around my farm including my Vette) and have never had an issue with any of them. Anywhere from $39.95 to over $200.00 for them and other than lots of pretty lights and functions on the expensive ones that I never use, they all do exactly the same job, do it well, and last just as long. What do you mean “floating type charger”?
