***Corvette Stolen!!!***

Hi Everyone,

I just got word that Arun's Corvette was stolen. Everyone PLEASE keep an eye out for parts for sale or anything suspicious!!!! We want to get this Corvette back!!!

Yep -- just talked to Dave Rempel -- Manny's main mechanic, and it's Arun's vette. Taken from his place in Waterloo.

Dark Blue with black wheels.

I think what is needed now is a picture of the truck and trailer, the car is almost irrelevant simply because I doubt anyone will be driving it. The truck/trailer could be the key to finding this rig. It may have been stolen for the truck and trailer without knowing what was inside.

Best of luck getting it back and back safely. Sad news.
 
That is awful! Friends of mine played a joke and moved my car on me one day knowing how protective I am of the car. It was not very nice.

Let's keep hoping for the best!

:agree: if the car was in a trailer.....that's what to watch for. sh***y news indeed. :(

The car was on an open air flat bed trailer Riley -- I should have a pic as soon as Dave gets a chance to send it to me.

I spoke to him (Arun) this morning and he's quite sad about it all.
Let's hope it turns up somewhere and if not that he has sufficient insurance on it.

More info: Apparently it was a truck, trailer and car that was stolen. Here's what Arun said:

It's a 2007 F150-crew cab, lifted with 20" tires and mudders and a exhaust so its a bit louder.

Colour is brown-trailer was just a open car trailer-black.

He may have to go south a few miles and have a pow wow. A guy I know had his COPO Camaro stolen, truck trailer and all and eventually got it back after some money changed hands. At least that's the story I heard.
