Corvette Museum

I'm getting the credit but the pictures were e-mailed to me from a friend Val. He has a beautiful red 1957 Thunderbird....if you can say that word on this site.

This was the last cruise of the year at Fenelon Falls this past fall. The red car that you can see through the T'bird back glass is a Hemi Roadrunner . For a small town cruise they had some really nice stuff out. Nice restaurant right there too. The 1955 Chev convertible was very nice too. The Torino GT was 351 powered I believe.

WOW. Now I know I have to go there.
You'll love the trip Stephane -- well worth it.

It hurts to see the ruined vettes that were retrieved out of the hole ---:Ack2:

Made me think when I realized that Terry and I were in that room not long ago sight-seeing.:Wideyed:

Awesome facility -- go see it.

Colin.

Thanks for posting the Museum link Keith.

Me and my wife where thinking about the Museum for some time now so vacation plan for this summer is: First we drive to Bowling green end visit the museum and if possible the GM plan. Second we continu our way to Delraybeach, Florida for 2 weeks and Third: Corvette at Carlisle on our way back. Only shame is going with the Grand Caravan, to much stuff and tools to bring with me.

Went to the museum last spring break. Heading to see family in Louisville Kentucky tomorrow and will be in Bowling Green this Sat & Sun ( wife's grandfather was mayor of Bowling Green back in 1965-67 ).

Might go hit the museum again now that the hole is filled in, unfortunately the GM plant tour only runs Mon-Fri so won't be able to do it this trip.

My son loves all the caves in the area, this trip we're going to hit the Lost River Cave and kayak the underground river for 2 hours.

Have a great trip Mike. Enjoy March break with the family.

Pictures if you hit the museum would be great.

Travel safe.

Did the Mammoth Cave National Park when Terry and I were there and thoroughly enjoyed that too. No time for the Lost River Cave but it's on the list for next visit.
Have also seen quite a few sink-holes in and around that area which seems to be quite prone to them.

Very clean city and great and hospitable people. Will definitely return when time permits.

Colin.

Colin,

Well couldn't do the Lost River due to high water levels. So went back to Mammoth, also had some great BBQ just down the road from NCM at Smokey Pigs BBQ, bit of a hole in the wall but great Monroe County style BBQ. Wife wanted to wait another year before going back to the NCM.

Yes sink holes are everywhere in the area.
