The guy building his own engine is supervised pretty closely. All those guns and drivers have torque monitors built into them and every nut and bolt is torqued to the exact spec. If it doesn't the alarms go off and maintenance are called to see what is wrong. You couldn't have it any other way and have inexperienced people involved in the build. To say that you built your own engine is a pretty good stretch. You did help though and that would be a neat experience.
$5800 would go a long way towards buying a supercharger. If I need an engine built, I will continue doing it myself and keep the $5800 in my pocket and head in Manny's direction for some go fast stuff.........like a supercharger.
