Congrats. How long was the wait; from delivery of your real C8 to delivery of the speed shape model?

My C8 arrived 17Oct 20 after 13 month wait.. So 7 months to get the gift.
I did call GM customer care a few months back and was assured I`d get it.

Thanks larryd. My car arrived in late September 2020 so a couple weeks before yours. I'm assuming my Blade Silver colour is still on back order, with a LOT of the recent deliveries in the States and Canada being Torch Red like yours. So they likely get a batch in of the same color, then deliver them. Some time ago I contacted the company down in the States that is tasked with sending them out. I wanted to know the cost to buy one since back then, we were told no Canadians would be getting one. I heard back a few days later and was told Canadians would also get them but my Blade Silver was on back order. No doubt Blade Silver and other colours have run into a production snafu with COVID. Glad you got yours.

I am waiting now longer for the model than I did for the damn car! My car was delivered to the Dealer on July 17th 2020 but still no sign of the model. A very curious roll out of models given the apparent random order of delivery of them.

I called in once and the CSR had no guidance to offer, they sent me a jacket as a consolation prize. We shall see... I just want to keep my goodies to stay with the car to keep the value up down the road. My VIN was 4663 so would have thought they would be clearing the backlog of initial cars first. Oh well...

They are definitely going by colour. ELB could well be last.
