Warm Continental Extreme Contact DWS06 Tires

Conti DWS's are extremely well rounded performance tires. Definitely recommended for those that don't need/want super expensive track focused soft rubber or the exotic stuff.

I was thinking about these for my other car that get driven very little, so the tires will get old before they wear out. Was wondering what type of tires will stay soft longer? I think the softest summer performance tires will get hard over the years and the DWS and similar will stay soft longer. I found a like new set of used Pilots... they were so hard, they made a hockey puck feel soft!

Consider Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3+; they are soft and quiet. Recommended by the instructors at the Spring Mountain Corvette Owner's School. They don't appear to be run flat so CAA or similar would be in order.
