I just took 98 Convert from storage unfortuatley we needed a new battery. While driving home after getting the spring oil change and check up 2 lights came on APS and Traction Control. I had the garage run it through and it showed as C1255 (LF WSS and excess variation) 1255e2 Internal Malfuntion, C1255 EBTCM Internal Malfuction. The 98 is new to me last year 50k and spent the entire time in Georgia. All new stuff to me.

Oh boy , that is a problem . The EBTCM on thge C5's is known to go bad , even just sitting around . Th problem is that the 97-98 ones are not repairable and the 99 and up won't work . So you will have to eith buy a new one , if you can find it or source a used one .
