Sold, it didn't last. I didn't think it would. Not too many 2017 GS models getting discounted that's for sure!

Not much of a discount but a little there and at this point any discount on a GS is worth looking at. Humberview Chevrolet in Toronto has a nice white GS on the floor with black wheels and the performance package for just over $100k. I suspect they might be prepared to discount it a little if someone were prepared to take delivery now.

HUH..... That was just shy of $8400.00 on a new 2017 GS.

Full list on a Canadian GS without any options is $75,895. CDN$ which is a great deal as that includes the dual mode exhaust and the magnetic selective ride in that price as well as the other GS options such as the beefed up suspension, the bigger brakes etc. However you can add a lot of $$ in options very quickly. I paid $87k full pop (plus $2k destination charge) for my GS ordered in June and delivered in September. My options included 2LT interior $4500) special GS Chrome Wheels ($2300), Heritage Package $915), MyLink Audio which includes the Performance Data Camera Recording system, navigation and the high end audio $2065), Red Brake Calipers $685) and Watkins Glen Grey Metallic paint ($570) for a total of $11k in options. add onto that the $100 AC tax and the $2k destination charge and bingo you are at $89k before HST. Talking to several dealers recently they have put their inventory of GS units into storage for the winter and will leave them there unless someone is prepared to pay full list for them. They seem to be pretty confident that they'll get full list again in the spring especially for the GS. As I said any discount that you can get on a GS now is great especially if it has the options that you want and are prepared to pay for. A number of the GS I have seen on showroom floors are loaded with seemingly small cosmetic options like carbon fibre trim that can really boost the price very quickly.

Yep, any discount MSRP at all on a GS right now in Canada is a good deal. That one in the post looked like a 2LT with automatic and no other major options beyond the GS package which itself has a number of the best options on it already. There were some really great discounts around in November on 2016 models. I saw several mentions of $10-$12k off 2016 units that had lots of cosmetic options on them which had MSRP of just over $100k. Once you add a convertible top, an automatic tranny, some carbon fibre trim, navi and PDR and an aero package you can get a 2016 up to $100k pretty quickly.
