Great hook to find a way to monitor how you drive. Great idea but I wonder what the implications are of letting them plug into your car. Aside from that, I like the idea of paying for what I drive. I have one vehicle (my Corvette) that I am lucky to put 4000kms on in a year and my truck which is parked for 5 to 6 months while I am away at work.

Not sure if this has been posted before as it was just brought into effect in May. Insurance based only on how many km you put on your car each year and billed at ech 1000km interval.... I stumbled upon this link.... Only in Ontario at the time of this article...

Canada's first ever 'pay as you go' car insurance rolling out in Ontario
I pay under $800 per year for my 2015 Z51 and that's full coverage for the year. I can't be bothered dropping it during the winter months for what it saves. I can't see this being any cheaper.

I agree.... Who are you with? I insure 6 vehicles and 2 trailers and would still pay close to $1000 a year for the Vette if I didn't drop to 'Park it' insurance for the winter months.

My insurance dropped to what I was paying for just my son for the year for 3 vehicles when I switched.
