When looking for a used vehicle its very important to see a CarFax or CarProof report to make an informed decision. However, these reports are not free. Depending on what information you may be curious about some of it can be found for free on various websites.
decodethis.com is a good resource if you want to do some research on the factory specs of the vehicle you are interested in.
Also you can purchase a UVIP from the ServiceOntario office or online to check how many owners have had the vehicle before, if it was imported from US or if its been registered outside Ontario.
Accident, Water Damage, Use as Limo/Rental/Police Cruiser are available only if you purchase the CarProof report.
