I think that I will hang it on me during those cold winter evenings when I am here on the computer putting in time. Her quilts are definitely warm. The quilt below, was all hand done versus machine quilted and took Dale about eight months to do. You have to be designer, draftsman and craftsman to tackle something like this. All those patterns and designs that you see were all done with needle and thread, one stitch at a time.
You are correct ... right down to my quilt maker actually being a designer-draftsperson. They can be costly even with the labour-of-love.
