My wife made me a quilt from the picture panels on a dozen tee shirts from the Oshawa Autofest annual car show. Not your typical quilt.

I just knew Dale was talented. Very nice Keith. Where are you going to hang it?

I think that I will hang it on me during those cold winter evenings when I am here on the computer putting in time. Her quilts are definitely warm. The quilt below, was all hand done versus machine quilted and took Dale about eight months to do. You have to be designer, draftsman and craftsman to tackle something like this. All those patterns and designs that you see were all done with needle and thread, one stitch at a time.

You are correct ... right down to my quilt maker actually being a designer-draftsperson. They can be costly even with the labour-of-love.
My custom made “car-quilt” is my man-cave quilt photographed on my car 😂
(Sorry it’s a repeat photo post from the cars and quilts thread) ...

It’s with me throughout the winter months while corvette-hibernating in my man-cave

Some more quilts!

Here are two quilts my wife made for me.
This first one is an accumulation of show shirts from a Concours Show we attended for the 7 years it ran at a local GM dealership in Detroit, MI.
The second is a table runner of my 03 Z06.
