New C8 stingray 2024 2LT Z51 owner. First post for me. Looking at adding the front splitter, side skirts in carbon fiber and the front grill guards for the rads.

Wondering who to shop from and who to avoid. Appreciate the insight.

Also seen too many videos and blogs on exhaust. Looking at the Fabspeed Maxflo.

Congratulations on the new 'Vette ....
I have used ACS composites for a few items .... yes they are expensive ... but the fit and finish of the products are the very best out there IMO ...

As for exhausts .... yea for sure the fabspeed is nice .... i was looking at the Borla atak ... whats stopping me is that dreaded check engine light .... even with the borla ... that I believe is somehow the only after market exhaust sanctioned by GM for the C8 ... I think ...
no one will guarantee that you wont get a CEL when swapping the exhaust ...

The Soler throttle controller should be your first aftermarket add on!! An easy install and will put a permanent smile on your face.

I second the vote for ACS Composites. Added their front splitter and side skirts and the fit and quality is great. Congrats on the Vette! Enjoy!

Any possible issues with warranty coverage? Much like insurance companies any excuse to deny a claim could be a possibility even if there is no connection to the problem. Once out of warranty obviously no concerns. Have you looked into this?

I purchased the AWE TOURING cat back exhaust and had our local dealer do the install. Sounds awesome and no CEL. Went with the black tips to finish the look. The dealer said that was the best quality system they installed yet. So far so good with the setup. Of course it Can’t go wrong as it is tucked away for the winter. lol. There is no concern at all. Take a look at the Rick “Corvette” Conti YouTube video on it.

Rick sells Corvettes and Chuck is a master Corvette tech and they would not normally recommend aftermarket items that would pose a threat to the GM warranty. Just make sure that your new C8 has passed the break in period before going “hung ho” on the controller!

While I won't say whether it would or would not void the warranty, Conti is click bait and often wrong. Don't trust him.

True, there is no 100% guarantee that an aftermarket item will not affect the warranty, but from what I have read and heard including from some owners who have used the controller for several years, I personally have very little concern.

I tend to believe them as they would not install my wheel spacers as they could not guarantee a warranty concern. The half shafts seem to be a tricky situation. Ford has GM beat on this issue. Lol

I have a Borla S-Type and it is beyond awesome. Never had a CEL at all .. just installed and enjoy. The sound is next level.

Thats great ! .... And personally when ( not if ) I decide to take the exhaust plunge ... I will go Borla for sure
However during many enquiries I have been told that a check engine light is a possibility not a for sure thing. Some get it ... some dont

At least the ones I have talked to wont make that guarantee ...
